Four Males and Four Females
There is a black male and a black female. There are three chinchilla males and three chinchilla females. They are going to be real hard to tell apart.Chinchilla starts as a soft charcoal gray, with white tips on the hairs, called frosting.

As of June 18, Chinchilla Boy 3 and the Black Boy, plus Chinchilla Girl 2 are available.

It is February 15 and the babies are now about four weeks old. I figured that there was no way to stack anybody, but they were surprisingly cooperative with the expert help of RLynn Shell. Here they are on their first day in the sunlight, Feb 1, 2014 when they were 18 days old. They have really grown and you can see the tell-tale white tips on the hairs of the chinchilla puppies. The two blacks really stand out now. You still can't tell the boys from the girls, but we number them on their tummies so that we are sure to play with each one every day.
